Health related exercise for children has many benefits. Apart from installing good habits to maintain a healthy attitude for a lifetime, regular exercise has proven to increase their concentration particularly in school, and enable children to understand and control their bodies more effectively.

Other benefits include:-

Exercise sessions are essentially fun based and work on the FUNDAMENTALS OF MOVEMENT Running, Jumping, Throwing, Catching, Twisting, Turning, Hand and Eye co-ordination, Rhythm, Power.

I offer sessions on a one to one, two to one or even group sessions, These can take place outdoors or indoors.

For younger children activities include athletic based fun with equipment to jump over, and crawl through, gymnastic activities concentrating on balance and even cycling. I have found that motivating young children by the way of reward and charts can have a positive effect.

Older children may wish to concentrate on improving their fitness levels. Many benefit from keeping a progression record and having set targets to achieve.

Sessions can be adapted to suit the individual needs of the child and I offer a free initial consultation where by we can discuss any issues that you, the parent / guardian, or your child may have in a sensitive and sincere manner.

I hope with all this in mind, I can reach out and inspire you child, by playing in the role of Sports Instructor and friend, to enjoy and get more out of physical activity.
